I finally managed to stop in Hye, Texas, to see what was what.
This back door is the main entrance to the Hye Market where I had lunch.
I walked around to photograph the door everyone sees as they drive by.
Across the street, the silos have doors.

You can see this as you go north on Lamar Boulevard, as you pass under the railroad bridge (just north of Lady Bird Lake, Austin, Texas).
In Ingram, Texas, you will find Stonehenge II, a replica of Stonehenge. They also have some replicas of the head statues from Easter Island. I painted this on location!
