I really like the name of this fish. It is the state fish of Hawai’i.
Throughout June I participated in the #30x30DirectWatercolor Challenge. I experimented quite a bit, so most of what I painted isn’t worth showing. But I got brave and painted Van Gogh’s Clogs. I actually got to see this painting at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. Wonderful exhibit.
A sunflower in watercolor. My goal was to paint it in the Cubism style. How hard can it be? Apparently, pretty hard. This could be labeled modern, maybe, or abstract. But Cubism? Probably not.
