Here’s my latest tote bag, the Walk About Tote by Marlous Designs. I took a class and all five of us in the class finished the tote bag before we left. Yippee! I used Stonehenge fabrics from Northcott.
My second effort at sewing a portrait. I see that I left off some of the hair strands. Oops.
I’ve had this idea for a while that I want to learn to create portraits in thread. Here is my first attempt. I sketched the portrait in pencil, then sewed it. I have a lot to learn.

This quilt top is ready to be quilted. Once I get it back from the quilter, I will bind it then donate it. The pattern is Chain Drive by Glenda Wilder. It’s the first time I’ve made a modern quilt.
