Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Flowers
The trumpet vine on the back fence is in bloom.

In Central Park, March 2016
I don’t know what type of blossom this is. It’s on a tree in Central Park. I looked at the website for Central Park blooms and still couldn’t find it. So much for my research skills.
Our butterfly garden is struggling in all this rain. We’ve had only a few flowers bloom from the spring planting. I hope the butterflies like the red and white poppies.

I am a minimalist when it comes to editing photos, mostly because I don’t know how. Changing a photo from color to black and white is a common edit and I use the standard selections (portrait, landscape, etc.) to see which one looks best. I rarely choose infrared, but in this case it was the most striking image for these morning glories.
