Feather Sketch
I sketched this on my own. No YouTube video this time for guidance. I find feathers particularly hard, but I tried one anyway.
This might be a hawk feather.
I think this is “good” on two levels: (1) I took the time to sketch it and (2) it shows progress. But I wouldn’t call it a good sketch of the feather. There is still lots of room for improvement.
Tree Sketch
Here is my sketch of a tree, based on a YouTube video by Leonardo Pereznieto.
I had difficulty with the leaves. Put them in, erase some. Add some darkness, take it out. Finally it was just time to stop.

My Favorite Angel
My friend Pat gave me this angel statuette. I must have taken hundreds of photos of it while it was in her garden. Now it’s on my front porch. I adore it.
