This time I followed the instructions (well, mostly) in the course from Onlinecardclasses.com. Day 2 of the Simply Watercolor class.

My second card while taking a course from Onlinecardclasses.com. My dog doesn’t look anything like the dog in the instructional video, but I can’t blame the instructor. I decided to experiment and make a few changes.

I won’t be turning pro anytime soon, that’s for sure.

I attended a dye painting fabric class recently and created two paintings. Hollis Chatelain taught the class. I love her work.
The images on the left side are how my paintings looked just after they were painted. The images on the right side are how they turned out after I washed them. The next step is to quilt them. Ha Ha. That will be a while.
That’s an alligator and a Dama Gazelle, in case you need a hint. Now, I’ve sketched that alligator at least 100 times but somehow this one time it came out looking all bulked up with huge teeth. Oh, well, back to the drawing board. Literally.
