I saw this spider on our front porch. I didn’t want to get too close
so I don’t know if it’s alive or not. I’ll give it time to go on about its business, just in case.

I used the supplies in the August 2018 ArtSnacks box to create a watercolor seahorse. The ArtSnacks challenge is to create art using only the box contents. Somehow I managed to do just that this time. They also put a piece of candy in each box (thus the “Snacks” part of the name). That was the first thing to disappear, even before I started painting, but you can see the candy wrapper.

All dressed up and nowhere to go. This is Ruckus, our youngest dog. I wrapped the scarf I knitted around his neck for a photography assignment and had hubby bribe him with treats in hopes that he would sit still for a second for two.

I photographed this nest 05 July 2018 and it was empty. I hadn’t seen any birds hanging around it or taking care of it. Not so now. I heard these baby Mockingbirds while on my front porch and saw that the nest is occupied.
