Day 7: Hereford Cow
Day 7 of the June 2018 Direct Watercolor Challenge: a Hereford cow. Once I got the outline done, I decided I liked the way it looked so I stayed with only one color.

Hye, Texas
I finally managed to stop in Hye, Texas, to see what was what.
This back door is the main entrance to the Hye Market where I had lunch.
I walked around to photograph the door everyone sees as they drive by.
Across the street, the silos have doors. 
Day 6: Bottlebrush
Day 6 of the June Watercolor Challenge: a bottlebrush bloom in my yard. Remember, part of the challenge is to paint without an underlying sketch.

Oh, That Face!
You can see this as you go north on Lamar Boulevard, as you pass under the railroad bridge (just north of Lady Bird Lake, Austin, Texas).
