Purple Flower Floating in Water
The flower and leaf are actually floating in clear water. I was hiking at McKinney Falls State Park and didn’t have my big camera with me. I used my iPhone camera, because, as they say, the best camera is the one you have with you.

Marcela’s Dress
I found Marcela at the Kyle (Texas) Market Days. She has a booth selling peppers and plants. She made her dress! Sweet!
She said the peppers will put hair on your chest. I’ll just have to take her word for it.

Hubby and I went to the native plant sale at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Guess what I found!
