Magnolia Market

On my home from Dallas, I decided to stop in Waco and visit the Magnolia Market, the retail shop from the Fixer Upper people on HGTV. I arrived at 9:20 a.m. and parked in their (free) parking lot. It’s a big parking lot, but it was almost full when I left just after 10:00 a.m. If you decide to visit, go early or be prepared to pay for parking. Several businesses around them charge a fee to park. Even at 9:20 a.m. on a weekday, it was very busy in the store. I didn’t photograph anything inside, as I was trying to check out all the doo-dads on the shelves. There are several food trucks along the rim of the courtyard. Some open early for those wanting coffee and such.

This green space is a big area for the kiddos, with some toys always available from a nearby bin.

You can relax in the striped bean bag chairs while your kids run amok.
