Weekly Photo Challenge: Hue of You

At first glance, people may get confused with my colors.

Water bottle with backwards letters

On the surface, confusing

If you look from the correct angle, you will find that I am transparent and you can easily see my heart’s contents.

Looking through a water bottle

Look through, to the inside

With a little pink thrown in, of course.

Bloom where — and when — you can

Weekly Photo Challenge: Tiny

In May of 2011, the Weekly Photo Challenge was “Tiny.” I’m revisiting it today because when we got the WordPress challenge, I knew exactly what photo I wanted to take for it: the sign for the Tiniest Bar in Texas. Only when I went there, the sign was gone!

What was going on?! I kept checking each time I went to Whole Foods Market downtown, which is across the street, but the sign did not return for over a year. Tiny and anonymous seemed to be its claim to fame in a state where everything is big and bold.

So here it is, finally, my real entry for the Weekly Photo Challenge: Tiny, originally from May 2011. (Check out my photo post on my old blog.)
