One theory is that if you paint the porch ceiling blue, wasps will not build nests there because they will think it is part of the sky. Sitting on my blue front porch and looking up, I counted eight (8) wasp nests (some were abandoned stubs). What I don’t know is how many wasp nests would be built there if the paint had been another color. So, is the blue paint working? I’ll never know.
