I saw this spider on our front porch. I didn’t want to get too close 00s Spider on front porch so I don’t know if it’s alive or not. I’ll give it time to go on about its business, just in case.

I love this spider. You can see the size of it when you compare it to a fellow hiker reading about the sculpture in the bottom right corner of the photo.

I passed by this artwork early in the morning. When I looked it up online, I found photos of it open. It is solar powered. I’ll have to go back and check it out in full sun.

Sunflower with Spider Friend

I particularly like finding flowers with friends. I photographed this pair early in the morning.

I manipulated it in Lightroom by toning down the clarity. (I love the “Clarity” feature in Lightroom.) When I increase the clarity I am amazed at the amount of detail that shows up. This time, however, I decreased the clarity as far as it could go, giving the photograph a somewhat dreamy look.
