The cold weather is late in arriving to central Texas but it finally made it. Our Bradford Pear had been blooming, taking advantage of the rains we had, followed by warm weather (still in November).

A late-blooming Crepe Myrtle, responding to the recent rain. They usually bloom near the end of August.
This tree looks ready for Halloween. With just a little decoration and back-lighting, it could be really spooky.
