This crepe myrtle was covered in tree tribbles! (Well, they looked like tribbles to me.)

My hiking group returned to the Wild Basin Preserve. I remembered photographing the Mexican Redbud in the spring, so I tried to get the same shot in winter; almost got it.

At McKinney Falls State Park, Texas
I saw several of these small webs on the Burr Oak tree.

Dew drop in!
We have one cypress tree on our pond. I went out several times to photograph it, trying to capture the rusty glow. Photos at dawn, photos around noon, photos close to sundown. All of them looked flat; I couldn’t capture the aura I saw around the tree.
This photo came the closest to the color I saw. Couldn’t get this color in any photo with the whole tree. The tree is bare now so I will have to wait until next year to try again.
