I hung a scarf with an impressionistic Mediterranean scene on my back porch and photographed it with the morning sun shining through it. I had been waiting for a subject that I thought would lend itself to the Liquify filter in Photoshop.

I used the multiple exposure feature in my camera to photograph this leaf. The glow came from the second exposure when I manually adjusted the focus ring so that the leaf was a bit out of focus. I enhanced the color just a bit in Lightroom.
Street photography is hard for me. It’s a little easier if the place is very busy like the Discovery Green in Houston, Texas, and I’m using my iPhone camera instead of my larger DSLR.
