I had to ask what this was. Answer: bloom (drying out) from a garlic plant. Am I the last to know?

Day 23 of the 2018 Direct Watercolor Challenge: a cupcake. At least, that’s what it’s supposed to be. I also intended to paint a candle on top but somehow didn’t leave enough room when I painted it. That’s what happens sometimes when you don’t sketch it out first. But that’s part of the challenge, no sketching or drawing underneath, so that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
