I love cardinals. Just the sight of them flitting around the back yard making their “chink, chink” sound lifts my heart. I’m putting out birdseed too. I finally saw a bright red spot a few days ago and knew that “my” cardinals were back.
I love their sound. I can hear them around the yard more than I can see them.
