It's a long story …

a light-hearted look at life by Tresha Barger

Rain falls as a cloud’s
Only possible action
Not for the tree’s need

Grandmother’s garden
With spring’s sunshine and rainbows
Where I make my home

Winged visitor
Seeking shelter from the storm
Waiting for sunshine

A butterfly on my boot as I sat on the front porch

Years and years of drought
Old trees fall, dust storms blow
And then the rains came

Front yard lake

Hundreds of peach blooms
Flourished before the late freeze
Now, only two grow

Full of promise
