Standing Room Only
The pole usually holds a Purple Martin bird house. Hubby took down the house once the birds left the area. Why the doves like to sit on top of this pole, I surely don’t know.

The photo I thought I was taking was of the cardinal (because the other 500 photos of cardinals I have aren’t enough?). When I looked at it on the computer screen, I noticed the two sparrows on the left.

Hubby got a good photo of three red-tailed hawks on our neighbor’s utility pole. Our guess is that two of them are parents and one is their offspring.
