Here’s the red-tailed hawk perching on a dead tree in our pasture. It was too far away for a sharp photograph and not facing the right direction for good light. Better luck next time.

At Mueller Lake Park
The grackles took advantage of the shopping cart overturned in the pond in back of the shopping center.

Cooper’s Hawk in the bird house (enclosure). He must have followed a pigeon in and then couldn’t get out. Hubby caught him with a net and set him free; the hawk wasn’t harmed. Can’t say the same for one of the pigeons; mostly just a pile of feathers left on the ground.
