I was going through some older photos and found these peach blossoms. Unfortunately, these two trees died after many years of struggling through droughts and late freezes.

On my quarterly visit to the Texas Quilt Museum in La Grange, Texas, I always visit Grandmother’s Garden in the lot next door. We’re still having mild weather and a few flowers were blooming.

I love flowers with bees in them.
A bee butt on a red, spiked flower at the Houston Zoo. I don’t know the name of this flower.
Update: The flower is a Red Bottlebrush (thanks to Judy King for the identification).
