It’s hot and dry here in central Texas, as usual, so I’m going back through some flower photos to brighten things up a bit. These are from the Antique Rose Emporium.


I particularly like finding flowers with friends. I photographed this pair early in the morning.

I manipulated it in Lightroom by toning down the clarity. (I love the “Clarity” feature in Lightroom.) When I increase the clarity I am amazed at the amount of detail that shows up. This time, however, I decreased the clarity as far as it could go, giving the photograph a somewhat dreamy look.
