Sitting still is harder than it looks
Clint The Elder
This is Clint, our 13-year old Labrador Retriever. I never did figure out what he was looking at. I stood right by him looking up and I didn’t see anything. Out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw his tail wag, maybe as in “Ha! Made you look!”

Smart Chicken
This Speckled Sussex Chicken was pretty smart. She roamed around the parking lot, eating the bugs on the fronts of cars. (It seems that even the hens have the red combs.)

So why did the chicken cross the road? Maybe to get to the parking lot and a bumper bug buffet.
Dragonflies
Somehow I managed to get a few dragonfly photos. I won’t show you the dozens of blurry, unrecognizable photos where you would just have to take my word for it that the subject is a dragonfly.
Hold still!
In addition to the dragonfly wings moving (and making it hard to get a focused photo), it was, of course, quite windy.
Where does this wind come from, anyway?
