This is a mosaic mirrored mural in Patterson Neighborhood Park. The green is the reflection of the trees in the park.

I was on an early morning walk (with my camera, of course) while I was away on a field assignment in New Braunfels, Texas, when I saw some deer. I stood as still as possible to photograph them.

These deer were having a great time frolicking in the morning dew.

Peek-a-boo.
While there is still dew on the grass, I can see some spider webs on the fence. When the temperature rises, they are gone.

Inside, Outside
Dumb bird. Dave didn’t know how it got inside.
For 45 minutes he chased it around his studio as it hopped around and squawked, eluding him. He stubbed his toe and spent a few minutes of his own squawking and hopping in pain. (So much for going barefoot.) Finally he managed to catch it. He checked it out and it seemed unharmed, just fatigued. He set the bird free, wished it well, and limped back inside.
As he closed the door he noticed a silhouette in the window. Yet another bird, inside his studio. Sighing, Dave reached for his shoes.
