Nice. They gather on the driveway under my feeder and scatter in a rattling cloud when I try to slip out to take a photo.
They have such a recognizable, iconic form. We’ve got lots of doves in our neighborhood. Most of the birds I see in my back yard in Hutto are doves and mocking birds. Sometimes a cardinal family will visit us at certain times of the year.
