Two red-tailed hawks on my neighbor’s utility pole. The mockingbirds were not happy at all about them being in the neighborhood and did their best to chase off the hawks.

What a cool photo! We have a lot of red tailed hawks around this area – it’s nice and swampy and a great food source for them are the mice we have in abundance. There was one that would sit on the goal post on the old football practice field and you could get right up next to it as long as it could see you. They are amazing creatures.
I took several photos with my little point-and-shoot camera and couldn’t see the details on the display. I was surprised to see two hawks when I viewed them on my computer. Sometimes we just get lucky!
