Yesterday I went to Whole Foods Market in southwest Austin. (Love having one on the south side!) I walked in with four items on my list and two grocery bags.
I couldn’t find one of the items on my list but I still managed to exit with three full grocery bags. They had a bag with a new design so I bought one and I needed it, as it turned out.
It was Sample Day. When advertising works on me, it really, really works. Yummy.
I managed to steal some time last weekend and sat down with my new Zentangle book, Zentangle untangled by Kass Hall.
Finally, a reprieve! The Houston Astros have lost nine of their last 10 games, displacing the Chicago Cubs from last place in the National League Central division. The Cubs have a half game lead over the Astros. It’s not much of a lead, and possibly only temporary, but there it is.
I don’t know what the Cubs will do once the Astros move to the American league. My poor Cubbies.
Maybe next year.
