A Future Quilt

In 2023, I participated in a Block-Of-The-Month program at a quilt shop. I made all the blocks on time. In October, I somehow lost some of the block fabrics. They are in my sewing room, somewhere. To finish off the that block, I had to use fabric from my stash. It’s now the end of December and I have yet to find those lost October fabrics. Moving along, I auditioned the 12 blocks and I like this arrangement.

One Block Wonder Quilt Top

This pattern is called the One Block Wonder. You take six (6) pieces of fabric, exactly alike in placement of the prints, stack them (perfectly aligned), and cut out 60 degree triangles. You sew them into hexagons, arrange as desired, and end up with something like this.

The original panel. I used six (6) of these to make my One Block Wonder Quilt. The panel is called Right Dreamin’ and is from Northcott Fabrics.
