So many plants suffered through the summer without any rain. We had a little bit of rain recently and everything is happier; some are blooming a little.

Our ash tree suffered in last year’s February snow storm. I thought it died. But it came back, just with a new set of branches. This is a common sight, for ash trees all over central Texas.



This is in the middle of a small water retention pond. There is no water, of course, as we are in a drought, as usual.
