Ripples in water, ripples in time
Flow away from some, towards others
What we don’t know is where we are:
In a pond, river, ocean?
And, what is at the bottom?

Morning Dew
Traces of the night
Morning dew lingers in the early sun
Darkness bridging to light
A bloom makes its run
Too Soon
It’s too soon, I said
Looking up to the clear, dry sky
The rain will come, eventually
It won’t be enough, you said
Dark brown edging ever inward
It’s too late
All She Had
Backlit clouds hide the quarter moon
Venus winks in and out of sight with the wind
Raging at her remoteness is unwarranted
She gave all she had
The Earth Cracks
The earth cracks
As temperatures rise
The heat tugs on the moon
Low on the horizon
