Bluebonnet season is upon us, earlier than usual as our winter didn’t last very long. We’ve had good rains so I’m hoping there will be lots of bluebonnets. Here is one to start off the season.

These are very popular for photographs at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. I had only a few seconds to photograph them without someone standing in front. I can see the images are not as sharp as I’d like them to be due to my being in a hurry.



I made a trip specifically to see the spring event Dallas Blooms 2017 at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. And what did I see? Tulips, tulips everywhere! This is just one of the many beautiful tulips.

Hubby planted some flower seeds in hopes of having a butterfly garden again this year. It rained the day after he planted them so maybe the timing was just right. Last year we had to depend on a lot of volunteers like this sunflower bud.
