Boot and Spur
This boot is on top of a sign for a western wear/boot store (Cavender’s). From where I stood, it looked about eight feet tall. The sky was a nondescript grey so I added the yellow in Photoshop. With these colors, maybe this boot could be in a Dr Seuss story.
Rain Boots
Here are the rain boots worn by me and my fellow students at a wildflower photography workshop. It was a dark and stormy morning — lightning! thunder! wind! rain! — but by the time we wanted to venture outside for our first photography session, we had blue skies. It was still wet, however, so we donned our rain boots for most of the afternoon.
