Wasp Alert
I found this wasp nest in our back gate. It’s at eye-level. It’s a wonder they hadn’t attacked us as we go in an out of that gate several times a day.

Ash Tree, Second Effort
Our ash tree suffered in last year’s February snow storm. I thought it died. But it came back, just with a new set of branches. This is a common sight, for ash trees all over central Texas.

When I want to see some flowers, I go to the garden center in a big box store.
