I saw this bird a couple of times only to have is fly away when I came back outside with my camera. I got lucky to get this far away photograph. According to my bird books, seeing a Great Kiskadee this far north (Creedmoor, Texas) is rare.
The picnic table is broken; if we sit on it, it collapses. I now use it as a bird feeder.
