This pattern is created by using the Creative Grids 8″ Curvy Log Cabin ruler. The narrow fabric strips are Grunge Dots and the wide strips are fabrics by Kaffe Fassett. I ironed the backing fabric and now this is ready for the quilter.
I decided to do a continuous line pencil sketch and a continuous line sewing portrait, as well.
I tried a few different tactics for this art quilt portrait.
Here’s my latest tote bag, the Walk About Tote by Marlous Designs. I took a class and all five of us in the class finished the tote bag before we left. Yippee! I used Stonehenge fabrics from Northcott.
My second effort at sewing a portrait. I see that I left off some of the hair strands. Oops.
