Chute Out 2017 (1)

The 4th Annual Capital of Texas Motorcycle Police Chute Out recently finished up in Buda, Texas. It’s a skills-based competition open to police motorcycle units. This year there were 160+ competitors from 13 states, from Washington D.C. to Hawaii. Even the Secret Service was represented!

One event was the Slow Ride. The goal is to ride in a circle as slow as possible for as long as possible without jostling a cone, turning a cone over, or putting a foot on the ground. It’s a lot harder than it sounds.

Combined Age

I saw this vehicle just before a hike. Unless the vehicle and the driver have birthdays in the same month, this sign should change twice a year to be accurate: once for the driver’s birthday and once for the vehicle’s birthday.

Changes twice a year?

Changes twice a year?

Did I photograph the vehicle? No! Bad photographer! And it was gone when I finished my hike.
