All those angles! I started at the back of the old pickup truck and found I hadn’t left enough room for the front. Oh, well.

Not really close

One day I was hanging around beautiful downtown Buda, Texas, waiting for a friend. I took the opportunity to photograph some cars that were stopped for the red light.

I don’t think my sketch is close enough to be recognizable as this specific car. The idea doesn’t sound that hard, to sketch a vehicle, but my execution is off. I am, however, learning to see details — usually after I finish sketching. Still, it’s all about the learning, right? Right.
