These cows think that cattle guards, closed gates, and barbed wire fences are merely mild suggestions and not strict guidelines. While I was waiting for the owner to show up, the larger cow jumped over the fence to return to the herd. The smaller one went through the fence when a dog down the road decided to chase it.
