How unusual this structure is… and I like how each photo gives us a different feel for it – and the last photo really shows scale (thought it would be larger)
It is obviously a Folly. A building with no useful purpose.
Would love to know the story behind this one. It had to have been built for a reason. A reason that is not exactly obvious of course… 😉

Interesting and cool stone as well. The first photos made me feel it could have been a small rest stop bathroom, but the overhang part makes it look more like a gas station or something. Let us know if you ever find out!
