Every time I go into The Quilted Skein in La Grange, Texas, I see beautiful samples like this shawl. I get inspired to knit but somehow when I return home, I find I already have a long to-do list and knitting never makes it to the top. Sometimes even the top items on my to-do list don’t get any attention.

That is beautiful. I used to love to crochet, but my eyes have become so bad, it’s difficult, not as much fun. Plus the humidity here makes the floss stick to my skin! Do you have that problem? I got started sitting in an airconditioned place keeping my mother company after her stroke, so it gave me something to do with my hands. Nowadays I just seem to have too much to do. What was that thing I used to have? Retirement?
BTW, my personal [not the Amazon author page] website has been revamped and looks pretty cool. Later today I’m going to try a small blog. If you get a chance, I’d like your opinion of the new look: eugeniaparrishauthor.com
