Cypress Tree

We have one cypress tree on our pond. I went out several times to photograph it, trying to capture the rusty glow. Photos at dawn, photos around noon, photos close to sundown. All of them looked flat; I couldn’t capture the aura I saw around the tree.

This photo came the closest to the color I saw. Couldn’t get this color in any photo with the whole tree. The tree is bare now so I will have to wait until next year to try again. Cypress Tree (21)s Cypress Tree (20)s

First Frost

The cold weather is late in arriving to central Texas but it finally made it. Our Bradford Pear had been blooming, taking advantage of the rains we had, followed by warm weather (still in November).
