Halfway, I hesitate when clouds swirl in, as if to shield
Through the grey-blue veil
I catch my last glimpse as they
Fade into the dawn’s shimmer,
Reaching across to each other,
Looking back to gauge my celestial distance
Oh, I wonder, am I intruding?
Venus and the Moon
Judy and I went on a field trip to visit Cripple Creek Critters in Paige, Texas, where they breed registered miniature Mediterranean donkeys.
Two to tango?
The donkeys have such tiny feet hooves.
Big ears and tiny hooves. And just as cute as can be.

This is Magellan, a 10-year old male, showing off his cart skills for us.
