Inktober at the Library

The Yarborough Branch Library is participating in the Inktober 2018 Challenge. In the lobby they have an easel with a large pad of paper. Each day they indicate the suggested challenge topic and invite kids to draw. They hang each day’s work on the front of the checkout desks. Love this idea!

I love the Blue Willow pattern on plates. This is the bridge from that pattern.

An Illuminated Letter

The good thing about participating in a challenge (like Inktober) is that I try new things. This is my first attempt at decorating a capital letter like scribes did when books were copied by hand.

00s 05 First Friday

#Inktober 2018 Day 5. I don’t know why the paper looks a bit yellow. It’s the same paper as my other Inktober drawings. Oh, well.  #ArtSnacks
