Just something that caught my eye.

I caught this as the train pulled through Luling, Texas. I was working on my panning technique, where the central subject is in focus (mostly) and the surroundings are blurred. I didn’t capture any of the surroundings in this photo, but I was happy to get a moving object in focus.

A bridge decorated in honor of Larry Monroe, a disc jockey at KUT for many years.
