Home Alone
Phil kissed Dianne goodbye before she got on the train, going to her mother’s for a week. A whole week to himself. But not by himself. His plans didn’t include spending one night alone. He stopped on the catwalk, leaning against the railing to make his first call.
As Barbara’s phone rang, Phil looked across the rail yard, saw a familiar figure walking in the parking lot. Dianne? But …? She must have gotten off from a different railcar and doubled back. She looked up at the catwalk for a few seconds, got in, and drove off.
“Hello?” Barbara said. “Hello?”

Sauce for the goose
Well, he can’t complain … Nice srory.

Sounds like they need to sit down and talk. Neither can be satisfied.
Hoist by his own petard, I think they say.
