I thought growing old would take longer.

This is what I thought, no doubt about it.

I saw this quote on a t-shirt in the Signals Christmas catalogue this morning while going through my pile of papers that I stack on the kitchen counter to take care of “later.” Well, the stack is getting out-of-hand so now it’s “later” and this morning I’m finally getting around to it.

“Later” seems to come around more quickly than it used to.
