Pumpkin Season
Pumpkin season is upon us, even if the temperatures haven’t caught up with that idea yet. I saw these at Whole Foods Market (Lamar store, Austin).
Hatch Chile Season
It’s that time of year: Hatch Chile Season. It’s pretty big deal for a couple of weeks. Fresh, roasted Hatch chiles. Buy them roasted or roast your own. Or buy practically anything flavored with Hatch chiles.

Or buy a Hatch chile plant and roast your own
And the question is not, “What Hatch chile items can you buy?” but “What doesn’t have Hatch chiles in them?” Answer: Not much. I only photographed some of the items.
