Carol waited at the front door. Please let me make this sale, she begged the universe. She heard a commotion coming from the parking lot. A Roman chariot with two black stallions appeared.
“Mr. Vulcan,” she greeted her client, wondering about the smoke drifting up from the chariot. “Are you sure you need something this size?”
“I have seven sons,” he replied as he surveyed the property. “My forge in Rome no longer suffices. I have ten bags of gold coins for payment. Is that acceptable?”
Carol looked up the exchange rate on her smartphone, starting to swoon. “Yes.”

Great take on the prompt. Ask the universe and you may get what you never imagined:)
She struck gold! A brilliantly different take.

Wow the universe definitely responded from one of the more surprising possibilities! It created some good contrast with a forgone age (chariot) and the modern age (smartphones).
Oh, what fun! What a sale.
Why not! Brilliantly surreal…
Haha – be careful what you wish for. It may be what you want but not always what you need. Lovely lighthearted take.
Great take, unusual and fun.
And all that gold will be “collector’s item” stuff. She’s really struck it rich. And legal contracts are all on Latin, too, so he shouldn’t have a problem there.😃
Hahahahaha…when past meets present…sale happens. 😀
Smiling!
